Today during our service we talked about the love that God has for us (even when we have done so much wrong), and we spoke about how God desires transparency from his people. Often times, when God is trying to work with us, we lack transparency and we will not come clean with ourselves or with God (even though he already knows). One of the first steps in excepting the love of God is being honest with him. I am not telling you to go and tell everyone your business, I am telling you to let it all hang out with the Lord, because after all, he already knows… Except his love and begin to flow in his forgiveness… When you are truly able to get free from the guilt of your past, and operate in that deep and abiding love of Christ, you will begin to see that peace that you have been looking for…
