I just wanted to let you know that the new podcast is doing great things… I have to give all honor to God for what he is doing with this great tool. In the 3 short weeks that we have had our podcast up, we have over 200 subscribers. Let me just say that all but 6 of these came in the last 2 weeks. We have people from the Netherlands, Singapore and Indonesia as well as the US of course. God never ceases to amaze me. Keep praying that we are able to make an impact for the kingdom and make the name of Jesus famous.

Let me start off by saying that today was a great day, but it also made me tired (as many, I like to call this the holy hangover). We were in part 2 of our series entitled “unlocking your potential”. This series was originally supposed to be 3 weeks long, but today as God shook the place, I did not get done with what I was going to say, so it looks like it is going to be a 4 week series.
I was very excited about teaching today, and I just knew that God was going to do something great. HE DID JUST THAT. If you were not able to make it to WOF this week, do what you can to download the message. Also, try to get there next week as we finish up part 2 entitled “potential power”, and come with expectation…

I know that many of you have been wondering where the updates have been… well, look no further, our new podcast our up!!! We have a new podcast host, and we will be able to provide you with much better service then before. For those of you that use iTunes, you can subscribe to us through the store. Please be advised that it seems to take iTunes a while to pick up our new messages. You can also click on the link directly to the right of this post to either listen or download the latest services…. Right now we are only putting up our Sunday morning stuff, we are still thinking about Wednesday. Sunday services are available on Sunday night for those of you who come directly to our website. We are not sure how long it takes iTunes to pick up the new stuff at this time. If anyone has suggestions for speeding this up, put it in the comments and we will give it a try. I know that it has been a long time coming… I thought that we were going to be able to get the ball rolling much before this, but we are there now and we can not cry over spilled milk. We truly hope that you enjoy these messages…

Many of you have been praying and encouraging me as I have been moving closer and closer to getting my audio book out. I am working on getting my art work back for the CD itself this week, so we are hoping that we will be able to put the order any time now… For those of you that just can not wait any longer, you can purchase a downloadable version of the audio book right now at Lulu. This is part one of a seven part series so I am excited about getting this out. You should probably add the lulu link to your book marks because there is going to be a lot more stuff hitting that storefront, but more information on that will be coming soon….

Hello all….

I went on an extended blog vacation for many reasons, but I am back now and you can prepare yourself to hear from me on a regular basis. During my blog vacation I pulled back from all of the social networks (Facebook, myspace, twitter, pownce), I just focused on what matters most The Lord, and my family. I have so many things to update everyone on, and so many things that will be coming up that I want to tell you about. This is not only an interesting time for the Body of Christ, but it is also an interesting for Word of Faith. God has been really challenging us to flow in the vision that he has given our house. Now, for some people, our vision may not seem very important to you, and that is ok (it is not your vision), but to me, vision is everything. Plan on staying connected as I update you on where we are and where we are going. I will have a post later today about my audio book and our new podcast, and you will also see some long over due updates to the site.

As a pastor it is very easy to let what other people are going through to weigh heavy on you (even when what they are going through is self-inflicted). I listen to people almost everyday that have a problem with something. They pour out there heart and tell me everything that is wrong and we pray, I give them the best information that I know, they leave and it seems like they forget everything that we just talked about…

At that point, I seem to get all the way frustrated and I find myself blaming myself for not doing enough. When this happens, I am not in control of my own emotions, but the other person is (Man that is not good). You may be saying it is good to hurt when someone else hurts, but not to the point where it causes you to no longer be able to help others.

This is my question, “Who are you letting control you” ? Are you really being let by the Lord, or are you being led by other peoples emotions and issues?

This is the reality, if you are sick, you can not help others get well - period….

We always talk about the body of Christ this, or the Body of Christ that, but I came across a family that is putting us to the test. I met a guy on twitter who is a family life pastor in Illinois. He and his wife are trying to get a house, but they were short on the funds, so what did he do, he asked everyone of his twitter friends to give him 2.00 - yep you saw that right - 2 bucks…. let me say it again $2.00 - yes, that is all. I was so inspired, I gave…sure did…

I do not know the family personally, I have never been to their church, I am not trying to win any points with him, I am walking out the scripture which says that the "believers had all things in common". My wife and I have a house, and I want to make it happen for this family as well…

Now for those of you who know me, you should realize I am pumped up about this because I have never used my blog to ask for any money… but I am a firm believer in this saying - "what you make happen for someone else, God will make happen for you…. So, if you want to see the body of Christ come together and make some stuff work…. Let’s help buy a house, and as you focus your attention on someone else, God will focus his attention on you…. Today was a great Sunday… Resurrection Sunday is like the Christian "Super Bowl"… The message was entitled "The Naked Truth" and we spoke about the transition from transparency to a lack of transparency in Adam and Eve and How Jesus reversed the trend when he became transparent through his resurrection.

Often times, we find it difficult to come clean before the Lord, and we find ourselves hiding behind who we are trying to be instead of being who we really are. This can cause so many problems when we go through life trying to be someone that we are not…

My challenge today was to be transparent and come clean and flow in the same authority that Jesus did as he got up from the dead…

Today we finished up our "Love Affair" series by dealing with how our connections to others can often keep us away from or remove us from God. The true challenge is to separate while still remaining able to minister to the person when or if God would call you to minister to them. Many of us are guilty by association. Those around us are keeping us from obtaining all that God has for us. In order to break free you must realize who / what matters most and focus your attention there. Would you rather stay connected to the world and disconnect from God, or disconnect from the things of the world and connect to God? I am not telling you to be mean, I am not telling you not to talk to your "unsaved" friends, this is about "binding" yourself to them to the point where their actions influence you in a way that will take you away from what God has you….
